Colombia Buesaco Jardines

This one comes from high up in the Andes in Nariño, where the farms are surrounded by lush, garden-like landscapes (which is exactly where the name “Jardines” comes from). The blend brings together coffees from a handful of small producers in Buesaco, including both newer growers and second-generation farmers. Thanks to the high elevation, volcanic soil, and unique microclimate, the coffees here develop a ton of natural complexity and sweetness.

Hand-picked at peak ripeness, the cherries are carefully selected by colour. On the same day, they’re floated, washed, and sorted to ensure only the highest quality cherries make it through. The cherries go through two stages of fermentation, first whole, in open-air bags for 24 hours, then depulped and fermented again for 18–24 hours on dry mucilage. After washing, the beans are sun-dried for 8–15 days, and turned regularly to dry evenly. The result? A meticulously processed coffee with balanced flavors, consistent moisture, and a cup that truly reflects the skill and care of the growers.
